Out of the lounge room...
Michael was introduced to Scrabble by his mother in his early teens and
soon outgrew 'lounge room Scrabble'. When aged 14 he entered his first
tournament and won the C Division. He rapidly progressed up the rankings
and was firmly entrenched as a top SA player with four Tournament wins in
early 2002. He is a keen competitor online at the ISC website.

Player of the year
Michael won the SA State Championship in March this year. He has also
been SA Player of the Year. He has played in several interstate
tournaments and was pleased to be selected for this year's TransTasman
Challenge.
