2 Divisions

Masters: If your Australian rating is over 1300 you must play in Masters.
If your Australian rating is below 1300 but you had a rating of 1300 or more in the six months period prior to the championship (ie from 01.10.2012) you have the option of playing in masters. International players are welcome.
First prize: $1000.00

Prizes

First prize $500.00 Over $7000.00 in cash, trophies and various other prizes in both divisions.
An extra set of prizes at the Nationals will be an owl mug with Easter eggs, and money which will be given away at the start of each game. Names will be drawn out of the hat and the "Easter Bunny" will deliver the prize to your playing table. You don't have to do anything. Just smile at the bunny.

Timetable

There are 8 games on Saturday, hoping to finish at 6p.m. On Sunday, play will commence at 8.30a.m. and we play 9 games, maybe finish at 6.30p.m. On Monday, 7 games to finish at 4.30p.m. and the venue must be vacated quickly so that RSL staff can set up for dinner. The computer people may stay on as they are operating on the stage and that will be out of the way of the RSL staff. Monday's games will be followed by presentation buffet dinner @ $40 per head

Food and drink

Lunch meals can be purchased on the premises or from nearby shops. (Any food not purchased on the premises may not be consumed on the premises due to licensing laws.) Coffee, tea and refreshments provided.
