Round 18

Going into the last round we see two youngsters on the top table. Josh Watt is 23 and Ryan Sutton is 34. This event has often been won by the old hands, but look what we are seeing now. Elsewhere in the room we have old hands who have been playing for years like the cheeky Sunny Wright, right down to teenagers like Oscar Ivanovski and Vinh Nguyen.

Josh had to win his game against Ryan Sutton in order to win the event. Ryan was leading early in the game, but Josh prevailed.

A remarkable achievement by Josh. He is so new to the Scrabble scene and there were many seasoned veterans playing.
