Rules of Play

National Rules apply to the National Championships and to the Australian Masters and State Challenge Trophy. They also form the basis for rules of all other ASPA-sanctioned events. The rules are flexible enough to cater for most levels of tournament and social play. State associations may allow minor variations to the National Rules.

Clubs conducting their own tournaments may vary the Tournament rules at any time, provided they let players know in advance in their tournament publicity.
