Australian Scrabble Players Association (ASPA) promotes the game of Scrabble ® across Australia. All of our major activities are performed in consultation with the trademark owners in this country, i.e. J.W. Spear & Sons, England (a subsidiary of Mattel Inc.). ASPA respects the commercial rights of Mattel at all times and also gratefully acknowledges funding received. Mattel publishes an Official Scrabble website relevant to all regions except North America.
ASPA is an independent players association. We coordinate activities in players' best interests. When travelling overseas, ASPA members are expected to respect the commercial rights of the relevant trademark holder and national players associations.
Within U.S.A. & Canada, Hasbro Inc (& Hasbro Canada Inc.) own all intellectual property rights to SCRABBLE ® Brand Crossword game. Hasbro publishes an Official North American website.
