About the Council of Australian Scrabble Players Associations

We aim to coordinate Scrabble ® playing activities across Australia. We are a national organisation which works through State Associations. Collectively, our State Associations are commonly referred to as Australian Scrabble Players Association (ASPA).  The first State Associations were formed in 1985. CASPA formed in 1992.

Aims:
  • Promote the interests of players
  • Promote the game
  • Promote growth of clubs
  • Stage National Championships each year
  • Run a National rating system
  • Select Australian representative teams
  • Develop rules
  • Standardise word lists.
